Union of Pride
Union of Pride is currently on display in the café. This piece was inspired by events during the summer of 2024, a time when distressing riots and division made headlines across the country. Watching individuals claim pride in their flag while spreading discord was a deeply unsettling experience for me.
In response, I sought to create something that would stand for love, unity, and true pride. Union of Pride combines two iconic symbols—the Pride flag and the Union Jack—into a single, powerful image. This artwork celebrates the beauty of diversity, the importance of acceptance, and the unifying strength we find in coming together.
While Union of Pride is not for sale, I am open to commissions of similar pieces, including larger works suitable for public spaces.
I hope this piece resonates with all who visit the café and helps to enrich the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that Southwark Cathedral embodies.
BANKSIDE 52 NOT OUT
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined me for the private view of my solo exhibition, BANKSIDE 52 NOT OUT. It was a truly wonderful evening, filled with inspiring conversations and the joy of connecting with so many art lovers and fellow artists. Your presence made the event unforgettable.
The show continues until the end of January, and I’m delighted to share that many works have already found new homes in the first week alone. If you're in the market for original, one-of-a-kind pieces, I encourage you to visit soon—this is a perfect opportunity to secure something special.
Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to welcoming more of you throughout the exhibition. See you soon!
Life's unique richness
As an artist, my work is inspired by life’s ever-changing rhythm, capturing the twists, transformations, and energy of a world in motion. Having spent over 50 years on the same street in Bankside, London, I’ve witnessed the evolution of this vibrant community—its growth and change are the heartbeat of my creativity.
Through bold colors and textured forms, I strive to preserve the moments that linger in our memories—the joy, nostalgia, and even the ache of loss. My art explores the delicate balance between "then" and "now," inviting a sense of wonder about what lies ahead.
I aim to convey the vitality and beauty of this place, capturing the essence of being present in the here and now, where each moment carries its own unique richness.
Energy and spirit
Inspired by artists like John Piper, Maurice Utrillo, and John Burningham, my work celebrates the character and intrigue of Victorian warehouses, bustling markets, and the ever-changing riverfront. Each piece pays homage to the city’s enduring spirit, blending memories of the past, the vibrancy of the present, and glimpses of what’s to come.
Now, as a parent to three young children with my childhood sweetheart, my art has taken on a deeper purpose. I paint not only for myself but for them—to create a legacy that embodies the unique essence of Bankside. Through my work, I hope to share the heartbeat of this remarkable place, so they—and all who encounter it—can feel its energy and spirit, both now and for generations to come.
stained glass
A Fusion of Art and Light
Discover the timeless beauty of stained glass with a modern artistic touch. As an established artist in oils, I am now channelling my creativity into the world of stained glass, taking over my family’s design and installation business.
Bringing my artistic vision to stained glass has been an exciting evolution of my work. Whether you’re looking for a stunning window, a door fanlight, or a decorative light catcher to hang in your home, I create bespoke pieces that combine craftsmanship and artistry to transform your space.
Bridging Two Worlds of Art
Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to transpose my painting “Butlers Wharf” into stained glass. Seeing both mediums displayed side by side at my solo exhibition, “BANKSIDE 52 NOT OUT”, was a thrilling moment that celebrated the versatility and beauty of these two art forms.
Let’s Create Something Beautiful Together
From vibrant storytelling through glass to timeless, elegant designs, every piece is tailored to reflect your vision and style. Whether you’re drawn to a small decorative light catcher or need a custom stained glass window or fanlight, I’m here to help you bring your ideas to life.
Feel free to get in touch with any questions or to discuss your project. Together, we can create stained glass art that will inspire and illuminate your space for years to come.

Tate Modern Garden Project
"The Lesson” or "Embodiment of Joy: A Celebration of Aquatic Bliss"
In the early months of 2023, I proudly unveiled a work designed
specifically for the acclaimed Tate Modern Garden. My sculpture now graces this prestigious space, basking in the glow of the Garden's recent triumphs, including the esteemed Green Flag award and the distinguished Britain in Bloom
title.
Cast in aluminium
Forged meticulously in enduring aluminium, the artwork captures a moment of exuberance as carefree swimmers revel in the tranquillity of the pool. The selection of cold cast aluminium as the medium bestows a timeless quality upon the figures, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Placed
strategically at the heart of the garden's water feature, the sculpted ensemble weaves an enchanting narrative, harmonizing with the natural surroundings in a symphony of form and movement.
In The Tate Modern Garen
The Tate Modern, an icon in the realm of contemporary art, stands as a testament to artistic innovation and cultural resonance. The privilege of having my creation permanently exhibited within its award-winning garden is without a doubt, a zenith in my artistic odyssey. The sculpture, a poignant exploration of human joy and connection with nature, invites patrons to engage in a sensory journey.
